Laker Pro X

The Laker Pro ice rod is a 48" heavy weight solid carbon spinning rod designed for big predatory fish. This rod has a medium-fast action which provides enough strength for big baits - as big as 3 oz. - while providing the most sensitivity with its solid carbon blank to detect soft bites, which big lakers are notorious for. 

The Laker Pro X is built with a solid carbon blank and wire guides producing and ultralight set-up to help with bite detection. It also strength tests as the strongest when compared to fiberglass, due in part to its solid carbon build. We avoided a hollow carbon core build because we fish in very cold environments and needed a rod constructed to handle the punishment of negative temps.

This rod measures 48" to help with big head shakes and managing slack line. The more play you have in the rod will help land more fish when they begin to shake and roll near the ice hole. Finished with logoed rubberized non-slip grips and tighten down reel seat so you can move your favorite reel from open water to ice rod without having to damage the grip with tape.
